This is apparently a thing these days. Are these ama2000 who are always posting their numbers on social media asking for "status viewers". Yeah, these kids are very weird.
She has so many contacts because she is a WhatsApp influencer.
GNU
GNU, or Government of National Unity, is a government that was proposed by the ANC after they failed to achieve above 50% in the 2024 Elections. It entails forming a broad coalition government consisting of all parties represented in the national legislature.
I don't know how to feel about this GNU.
Mngani wa yena
A Tsonga term for "his friend / her friend" that is apparently used to identify unknown soccer players by commentators.
They would call all the names of the "famous" players and when they reach the unknown player, they would say mngani wa yena (his friend).
And he passes the ball to Jabu Pule... Jabu Pule passes to mngani wa yena.
Plumber
In South African football, the term "plumber" is a derogatory slang used to describe a coach, often a foreign one, perceived as underperforming or lacking the intellectual or tactical acumen to succeed in the sport. It implies a coach is more suited to a trade like plumbing than managing a football team.
I see Orlando Pirates just hired a plumber to replace Riveiro.
